Advance Air was selected to be the Test and Balance contractor of The Star in Frisco, Texas. We completed the Frisco Multi-Use Arena, The Cowboys' Headquarters Building, and Omni Hotel. Additionally Advance has completed 15+ projects inside The Star.

Fort Sam Houston Medical Education and Training Campus

Location: Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas
2 Million + Sq. Ft, Consisting of 9 buildings.

Notes: This Medical and Education Training Campus is one of the most ambitious construction projects ever undertaken by the United States Government. The project has an aggressive time line, with very specific technical requirements. Advance Air Systems is proud to provide both the Test & Balance, in addition to Commissioning for 5 student dormitories, 2 Three-story medical training facilities, the largest dining facility in the US Military (80,000 Sq. Ft.), administration building and a fitness facility. AAS is proud to be selected for this project, due to the following quote from Dr. Scott Griffin, the U.S. Government Facilities Lead for this project: “Unlike most government contracts we based our selection of construction contractors on the best value instead of the lowest bid.”

Dallas VA Medical Center Expansion

Location: Dallas, Texas
Size: 1.1 million Sq. Ft, 4 level hospital expansion and remodel
Subcontractor for: Veterans Administrations (Owner)

Notes: Advance Air Systems was one of the first TAB contractors to be hired directly by the Veterans Administration for this project. This facility was approximately 600,000 square foot addition and 500,000 sqare foot remodel. Located on 84 acres of land, the Dallas VA Medical Center is a very large facility, with the new addition now has over two million square feet of interior space.


Amarillo ISD Renovations - Phase 2 & 3

With more than 1000 Rooftop Units spread among 40+ campuses, these projects presented a unique challenge. Finding the manpower willing to work long days during the summer to complete this task was in line with our strengths. Utilizing our industry unique test methods we were able to deliver repeatable and accurate work in the shortest possible time with the least amount of issues.

Azure Luxury Condominiums

Location: Dallas, Texas
Size: Over 400,000 Sq. Ft., 31 Story Condo Tower (valued at $100,000,000)

Notes: The newest centerpiece in the enclave of Uptown Dallas. This LEED Certified, 31 story luxury condominium tower features a private theatre, lounge, library and boardroom, along with 161 condominium and penthouse suites. This project was the first residential project in Dallas to earn LEED Certification. Teamwork was a key player in this regard. AAS prides itself on being both a team player and a LEED certified firm.

Palomar Hotel and Condominiums

Location: Dallas, Texas
Size: 392,000 Sq. Ft,(+ 90,000 underground garage); Consisting of 2 buildings.

Notes: Dallas’ first urban resort, featuring four-star Hotel Palomar, (a 198-room Kimpton Hotel), 72 residential units, shopping restaurants, spa and conference facility. The hotel features: 12,000 square feet of meeting space, 15,000 dedicated to two restaurants, a 9,000 square foot spa, and additional 10,000 square feet of retail space. The penthouse in the residences is one of the largest in Dallas at 13,000 square feet.

The Domain Parkside Phase III & IV

Location: Austin, Texas
Subcontractor for: Amicus Construction, LTD.

Notes: Advance Air Systems assisted in the certification of 10% of the residences as required by the Austin Energy Green Building Program. Advance Air obtained the required certification and approvals to complete the project, and is still an approved contractor through the AEGBP. Advance Air provided not only the Test and Balance of the residences, but also the low pressure duct-leak testing as required.

Ritz Carolton - Dallas, Texas

Notes: With over 218 guest rooms, Ritz Carlton receives the highest ratings in both Zagats and Conde Naste. The building includes a 12,000 square foot. Spa, 14,000 square foot of meeting rooms, a 9,500 square foot Ball Room and an underground parking garage. The multiple areas and usages required specific and experienced TAB project managers and technicians to complete the project with superior results.


Olin E. Teague VA Medical Center

Location: Temple, Texas
Size: 350,000 Sq. Ft, 8 Story, 802 Bed Medical Center

Notes: The Mechanical Systems included an upgraded central plant with two 800-ton chillers, two cooling towers, steam boilers, and various pumps. The Mechanical Systems in the replacement wing consisted of 36 air handling units, medical gas systems, medical vacuum system, 1200 VAV air terminals with reheat coils, and plumbing systems for 600 patient rooms.

Seton Medical Center Hays

Location: Round Rock, Texas
Size: 365,761 Sq. Ft, 6 level hospital (valued at $175,000,000)

Notes: The newest facility in the Seton Family of Hospitals', this hospital mirrors her sister building in Round Rock, Texas. The building includes 181 beds, along with an Emergency Department and Women’s Center. Advance Air Systems' professionalism and expertise in the Healthcare sector, including the capability of satisfying all Texas Department of Health requirements, provides the quality and service hospital projects need.

Seton Medical Center Williamson

Location: Round Rock, Texas
Size: 365,761 Sq. Ft, 6 level hospital (valued at $175,000,000)

Notes: Advance Air Systems prides itself on being one of a select group of contractors and TAB firms that is capable and permitted to perform work at the 3rd busiest and 7th largest Airport is the world. Advanced Air has completed multiple projects in every terminal at DFW Airport. These projects include: Terminal C & E renovations, tenant finish out for multiple restaurants and other retail spaces in all terminals, the entire rental car maintenance and storage facilities, Korea Air, FAA offices, complete bathroom renovations in 3 terminals, U.S. Customs receiving, processing and holding areas, flight safety training center and multiple other projects. In our history of performing work at the DFW airport, Advance Air Systems has never had an employee fail a safety or security test, and has never had an employee fail a background investigation or be denied access to any area of the airport.

Countrywide DFW Campuses

Location: Richardson and Fort Worth, TX

Notes: When the nation's premier mortgage lender moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, they needed space and needed it fast. Advance Air Systems completed this fast tracked work at Beach Street Campus (Old Motorola), Lakeside Campus (Old Nortel) and Amon Carter Campus (Centreport). Appropriate staffing, coordination and quick reporting are the strengths needed for projects like these, and AAS provides just that with our 24 hour electronic reporting after project completion

One Museum Place

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Notes: This mixed-use development in the heart of Ft. Worth’s Cultural district features 130,000 square feet of office space, 50,000 square feet for 39 luxury condominiums and 13,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

Carter Burgess Plaza

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Size: 954,895 Sq. Ft; 40 stories

Notes: Cater Burgess Plaza is a 40-story, Class A office building totaling 954,895 square feet in the heart of downtown Forth Worth. Advance Air Systems performed a complete rebalance of this building in 2000 when it was struck by a tornado.

The House at Victory Park

Size: 315,800 Sq. Ft; 28 stories

Notes: Located in Victory Park in uptown Dallas, the house features 150 residential units. The building also features 30,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Among the amenities are a fitness room, owner’s lounge, library and business center. Philippe Starck states: "My intent was to design a fully-integrated building that presents free-flowing forms and reflects a freeflowing lifestyle in both the interiors and exteriors,"
